The main objective of the project is to collect meteorological data in order to improve short-term weather forecasting capacity and thus reduce the social impacts generated by the occurrence of extreme events in South-East South America.



The main objective of the ANTARES network is the study of long-term changes in coastal ecosystems around South America to distinguish those due to natural variability from those due to external disturbances (anthropic effects).



SCOPE-Nowcasting's main goal is to provide an interactive tool with reduced operational costs associated with technological changes and software updates and rapid delivery of information from severe rainfall to disaster response.



GEONETCast Americas is the Western component of GEONETCast, a near-real-time, worldwide network of satellite information dissemination systems designed to distribute observed surface, air, metadata and product data to diverse types of users.

The Combined Scheme approach (CoSch) provides a new high-resolution, gauge-satellite-based analysis of daily precipitation over Latin America.
